Murat Durandurdu
Murat Durandurdu received his PhD in Physics from Ohio University, in 2002. He was then a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. He held an assistant professor position at the University of Texas-El Paso, a research associate professor position at Texas Tech University and associate and full professor positions at Abdullah Gul University. He joined Charles University as a visiting professor in 2020. Currently he works within the group of Prof. Nachtigall. His research is focused on computational materials science and nanotechnology, and theoretical condensed matter physics.
