Roberto Fernandez-Alvarez received his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Costa Rica and his Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Biomedicine and Molecular Biology from Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. Currently, his PhD research at Charles University focuses on the design of boron-containing nanostructures and possible application of such composites.
