Junjie He obtained Ph.D. degree in 2017 with Prof. Petr Nachtigall at the Faculty of Science, Charles University. Then, he briefly worked as assistant professor at the Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China (2018-2019), before moving to the BCCMS, Universität Bremen, DE. At the BCCMS, he worked as a postdoc (2019-2020), followed by independent DFG-project PI (2020-2022) in the group of Prof. Thomas Frauenheim. He has a very broad interest in computational materials science, from the magnetism, catalysis to the exotic topological phases. He has published over 70 papers to date, with a total citation over 2400 times and a H-index of 28 (Google Scholar, June 2023). Currently, he holds the position of assistant professor at Charles University, where he mainly works on ab initio theory and
modeling of light-induced dynamics of out-of-equilibrium nanomaterials.
