Federico Brivio has a master degree in Material Science from Milano Bicocca. After a brief spell as a teacher, he completed a PhD in Bath with Aron Walsh as a member of the ITN-Destiny project. After the PhD he did a Postdoc in Cambridge with Paul Bristowe and Tony Cheetham and then joined the Nachtigall Group in Charles University.
Federico research interest orbits around the investigation of electronic properties of matter and DFT simulations. He focuses on hybrid materials such as zeolites and hybrid-perovskites. He is a passionate teacher, and when he can he blogs https://blogfederico.gitlab.io/
