Ing., Ph.D., Researcher

Martin Kubů

Dr. Martin Kubů received his Master’s degree in Chemistry and Chemical Technologies from the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague in 2007. He then joined the Department of Synthesis and Catalysis at the J. Heyrovský Institute of Physical Chemistry, where he completed his Ph.D. in 2012 under the supervision of Prof. Jiří Čejka.

From 2013 to 2018, Dr. Kubů continued his research at the J. Heyrovský Institute with support from the Czech Science Foundation. Since 2019, he has been affiliated with the Faculty of Science at Charles University in Prague.

His research focuses on the design and preparation of structure-directing agents (SDAs), the synthesis and post-synthetic modification of zeolites, and their characterization using physisorption of gases and vapors. He is also interested in the catalytic applications of zeolitic materials.
