Bio: As an Assistant Professor at Charles University, I focus on advancing research and education in electrochemistry, hydrogen production, and functional materials design. My work integrates fundamental chemistry with sustainable energy technologies. Before this role, I earned my Ph.D. in Chemistry from Beijing University
of Chemical Technology and built an international research profile through experiences as a visiting scholar at Case Western Reserve University, a postdoctoral researcher in George Whiteside’s group at Harvard University, and a researcher at VITO in Belgium. I am committed to building an active, collaborative research group
and fostering interdisciplinary projects across chemistry, materials science, and clean energy. Through both teaching and research, I aim to inspire the next generation of scientists while contributing to the sustainable energy development.
Research: We focus on designing advanced materials for sustainable energy technologies, which includes developing catalysts and membranes for electrochemical CO₂ reduction, hydrogen production, and related energy-conversion processes. We aim to understand structure–property relationships, improve materials performance, and create efficient systems that support a clean and carbon-neutral energy future.
