Tereza Benešová completed her master's studies in Physical Chemistry in 2022 at the Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague. She focused on the hydrolysis of zeolites and the mechanistic explanation of oxygen exchange in zeolites under steaming conditions.
During her PhD studies, she focuses on single-atom catalysts and subnanometric catalysts of noble metals (such as Pt) supported on 2D zeolitic monolayers. Her main focus is on the determination of structure and enumeration of different effects for stability of such catalysts against sintering.
