Quantum chemistry and Bioinformatics contributed enormously to our current knowledge about structure of Proteins. The lecture will address evolution of methods which were successfully applied on the problem of Protein Structure Prediction resulting in advanced AI algorithms represented by program AlphaFold2. New achievements in structural molecular biology will be presented together with discussion about possible scenarios  of further development of the field.
