OFFER DESCRIPTION

The Department of Physical and Macromolecular Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Charles University, Prague invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position in experimental Physical chemistry, preferably, but not exclusively, in areas focused on nanomaterials, electrochemistry, electrocatalysis or electrochemical materials. Faculty of Science expects excellence in teaching and in research and the ability to secure extramural funding. Qualifications required of all applicants include a PhD or equivalent degree in Physical chemistry or related disciplines, a postdoctoral research experience, a strong record of research, ability for interdisciplinary collaborations, and a commitment to teach students at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Good communication skill in English is also required.
