Ans Bin Tariq holds an M.S. in Chemistry with a specialization in physical chemistry from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia (2025). The master's thesis focused on engineering metal-doped hematite (Fe₂O₃) photoanodes for the oxygen evolution reaction in photoelectrochemical water splitting. Before that, Ans earned an M.Sc. in Chemistry at Gomal University, Pakistan, and in 2025 completed a research internship at National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan, studying layered double hydroxide catalysts for seawater electrolysis.

Research interests: photoelectrochemistry, electrocatalysis and green hydrogen production.
