Viplove Mishra received a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Kolkata, India (2025), under the supervision of Prof. Venkataramanan Mahalingam. The doctoral research concerned transition-metal-based electrode materials (oxides, hydroxides, chalcogenides, phosphides) designed through interfacial and defect engineering for electrochemical energy conversion, including hydrazine-oxidation-assisted hydrogen production.

Research interests: electrocatalysis (OER, HER, HzOR, CO₂ reduction), rechargeable batteries and supercapacitors.
