Xinyi Chi
M.Sc. · Doctoral student
Xinyi Chi received a master's degree in renewable energy chemistry from Uppsala University, Sweden (2025), with a thesis on halide perovskite-based photo-rechargeable batteries carried out at the Ångström Laboratory. Xinyi holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and technology from Wuhan Polytechnic University, China, where the research focused on nanostructured electrode materials (MoS2, NiCo2S4) and led to two co-authored papers on electrode materials for supercapacitors. Industrial experience includes an internship in battery structure and thermal engineering at Volvo Cars, Gothenburg.
